Earth Week Day 3 Continued.. Something to think about

If there is so much food wasted each year, why are there still hungry people? How can that food be diverted to people who need it? Is that the solution?

How do we change the food system so this isn't a problem in the first place? Create a system where food isn't wasted, it's distributed better. A system, where during a pandemic, food isn't having to be tilled back or dumped into fields because we don't know how to distribute it to people who need it.
